The Markforged X Series are large format industrial 3D printers designed for producing high-strength parts. With a large build volume of 330mm x 270mm x 200mm, the X Series offers exceptional capabilities for printing jigs & fixtures, tooling, components, prototypes, robotics, custom-fit parts and end-use functional parts.
The Markforged X7 is a large format 3D printer designed for producing high-strength parts with the option to include reinforcing fibres in Fibreglass, High Strength High Temperature Fibreglass, Kevlar and Carbon Fibre using the Composite Filament Reinforcement (CFR) process.
The X series consist of 2 variants:
- X3 - Print in Onyx variants only, PLA or TPU only
- X7 - Print in all Onyx variants and all reinforcing fibre options, and PLA or TPU
With the X7 you have the option of printing in Onyx, Onyx FR (Flame Retardant), Onyx ESD (static dissipative), Onyx FR-A (Aerospace-ready material) or White Nylon as the base material. Onyx is a Nylon embedded with micro carbon-fibres, producing a greater stiffness and higher temperature resistance and a matt-black finish. Please note the X7 comes with Onyx as standard. The X7 can also print in Precise PLA for low-cost prototyping and models or Smooth TPU 95A for flexible parts.
The X7 has a Z-layer resolution of 50 microns, producing an excellent quality surface finish and users can designate a specific layer at which the Markforged X7 can pause, ideal for embedding components or sensors during the print process.
The printer comes with advanced print software Eiger included (operates on Google Chrome), as part of the Basic Digital Forge subscription. Essential, Advanced and On-Prem subscription tiers are available - choose the plan that is right for your business and teams.
The X7 is also compatible with Markforged Inspection and Simulation softwares (part of the Advanced subscription tier)
- Inspection is an automated quality control software. The software scans, measures, and compares dimensional accuracy data of printed parts to the design files, giving manufacturers reliable parts right off the printer.
- Simulation software validates part performance and optimise print settings to ensure parts meet requirements while maximising manufacturing efficiency
12 month manufacturer warranty included.
