Markforged Onyx FR Filament

Onyx FR is a Flame Retardant Onyx from Markforged for use with the Industrial Series 3D Printers (X3, X5, X7 and FX20 models).

Onyx FR is a Nylon base with micro carbon-fibres with a flame retardant additive. The material has self-extinguishing properties and is UL94 V-0 rated down to 3mm thickness, making it ideal for aerospace, automotive, defence and electronics applications, for functional prototyping, brackets, mounts, housings and connectors.

Onyx FR material possesses similar mechanical properties to Onyx, has good chemical resistivity, is non-marring and is reinforceable with continuous fibres.

Each MarkForged Onyx FR filament spool contains approx. 800cm³ of material.

Compatible only with the Markforged Industrial Series 3D Printers (Markforged X3, X5, X7 and FX20 models).
