The FX20 is Markforged’s new flagship 3D printer, a machine that brings The Digital Forge platform and Continuous Fibre Reinforcement technology to a new realm of parts, applications and industries.
Designed to tackle engineering challenges in some of the most demanding manufacturing industries, from Aerospace to Automotive and Oil & Gas to Defence, the FX20 is ULTEM™ capable, bigger and faster than Markforged's desktop and industrial 3D printer ranges.
With an extra large capacity build size of 525mm x 400mm x 400mm (single nozzle), the FX20 is capable of printing high performance parts, complete assemblies, large tooling, prototypes and production parts.
The FX20 can print in high temperature materials, including PEI (Polyetherimide), known as ULTEM™ 9085 Filament, as well as any of the Markforged base materials of Onyx, Onyx ESD, Onyx FR (Flame Retardant) and White Nylon. With Continuous Fibre Reinforcement technology, the FX20 also has the option to add reinforcing fibres of Carbon Fibre, Fibreglass (including High-Strength High-Temperature) and Kevlar to produce high-strength functional parts.
For high performance parts in tough environments, the FX20 has a specialist range of high-temperature materials available:
- ULTEM™ 9085 Filament
- Support for ULTEM™ Filament
- Carbon Fiber for ULTEM™ Filament
ULTEM materials are traceable and come with a Certificate of Conformance (CoC) and a Certificate of Analysis (CoA).
The FX20 connects via Ethernet and comes with advanced print software Eiger included (operates on Google Chrome), as part of the Basic Digital Forge subscription. Essential, Advanced and On-Prem subscription tiers are available - choose the plan that is right for your business and teams.
12 month manufacturer warranty included.
As a Markforged Value Added Reseller, we are certified to provide our customers with escalated levels of technical support, service and maintenance packages and training as well as preferential access to new product upgrades.
