Durable V2 Resin is the most pliable, impact resistant, and lubricious material in the Formlabs functional family of Tough and Durable Resins. Durable V2 resin is suitable for squeezable plastic parts and low-friction assemblies that experience significant wear and tear.
Durable resin is ideal for:
- Squeezable prototypes and low friction assemblies
- Non-degrading surfaces as a result of repeated wear
- Jigs and fixtures that will experience significant impacts
- Simulating the strength and stiffness of HD/LD polyethylene (PE)
Due to its low modulus and high elongation, Durable resin deforms significantly with relative ease under load compared to Tough (v5) and Tough 1500 resins. When pushed to its stress limit, Durable parts will strain significantly before permanently deforming and ultimately breaking.
Each resin cartridge contains 1 litre.
This version is compatible with Formlabs Form 4 and 4B only.
