3DChimera Dyeformer

The 3DChimera Dyeformer takes the complexity out of dyeing 3D printed parts. 

Ideal for SLS and MJF parts, the Dyeformer uses specifically formulated non-toxic dyes to dye 3D parts in just a one hour cycle.

Using 3DC Dyeformer Dye Mix, the dye is combined with tap or distilled water and heated to a precise temperature. This environment relaxes the polymer strands of Nylon within the printed part to permanently absorb the dye. Once the dying cycle is complete, the parts are left to dry and the dye remains within the polymer.

Key features of the Dyeformer include:

• Automated System. System is pre-programmed with the ideal temperature, flow rate and time to dye PA12 parts
• 1 hour dye-cycle time. Fast dyeing times. Each cycle takes just 1 hour.
• Dye large and small parts. The large basket capacity allows the dyeing of large single parts, or multiple small parts in one cycle. The maximum single part size is 495 x 292 x 152mm
• Range of colour dyes. The most popular dye is Black! Other colours available include Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Teal & Magenta. Dyes are non-toxic
