New Ultimaker Print Core CC

Ultimaker have released a new Print Core CC, with hardened steel nozzle, available in 0.4mm and 0.6mm diameters.

This new print core CC joins the Ultimaker ecosystem to stand alongside the Ultimaker print core AA and the Ultimaker print core BB, and is compatible with the Ultimaker S3 and S5 range.

The CC print core is designed to handle printing in abrasive materials and the different nozzle sizes are specific to different application uses:

• 0.4mm diameter nozzle assists with higher visual quality printing
• 0.6mm diameter nozzle assists reduced print times, through printing with larger line widths

These new print cores are compatible with a range of 3D printing materials, particularly more abrasive and composite filaments from the Ultimaker ecosystem.
