New Ultimaker 2+ Connect at CREAT3D

The Ultimaker 2+ Connect has arrived. The latest in the Ultimaker range, the 2+ Connect features networking capabilities and a new touchscreen and the ability to pair the 3D printer with the Ultimaker 2+ Connect Air Manager, for enhanced safety. The Ultimaker 2+ is ideal for small enterprises focused on design and educational establishments.

Since 2015, over 6 million prints have been prepared for its predecessor, the Ultimaker 2+. The Ultimaker 2+ Connect improves on that workhorse legacy with intuitive operation and deeper software connectivity.

Ultimaker 2+ Connect feature highlights

• Next-gen components: A stiffer build platform and rigorously tested material profiles
• 2.4" colour touchscreen for intuitive control changing material, adjusting the build plate, or checking your print status
• Wide material choice: Ultimaker offers a wide material choice, with an open filament system
• Easy setup: features a more ergonomic feeder lever and improved assisted bed levelling step-by-step assistance
• Swappable nozzles: switch out nozzles in less than 5 minutes, choosing between 0.25 mm for detailed prints, 0.8 mm for fast drafts, or 0.6 mm and 0.4 mm for standard prints

Optional Ultimaker 2+ Connect Air Manager

The optional Ultimaker 2+ Connect Air Manager gives you more confidence and setup flexibility. Designed to simply and effectively increase user safety, it removes up to 95% of ultrafine particles (UFPs) and shields users from hot and moving components.

The Ultimaker 2+ Connect Air Manager also fully covers the Ultimaker 2+ Connect’s build chamber with a front enclosure for a more stable printing environment, preventing anyone from touching hot and moving components.
