CREAT3D will be featuring the latest technology developments in 3D printers at the Southern Manufacturing Show 2017, on stand R127.

Southern Manufacturing is a fantastic opportunity to see 3D printers in action and understand how these desktop machines are used for tooling, jigs & fixtures, casings, enclosures, sacrificial parts, end-use parts, sales tools, moulds, components, casings, and more.

Working across multiple industries and applications requires a wide range of printers that have different qualities whether that be in material properties, strength or finishes. At Southern Manufacturing, CREAT3D will be on hand with a selection of hand-picked products including the newest releases:

High-strength 3D printing

The Markforged range of 3D printers including the newly released Onyx Series, Mark X and Mark Two, are engineered for high strength 3D printed parts, in some cases generating a higher strength-to-weight ratio than aluminium. Using a composite approach, MarkForged uses Nylon or Onyx (Nylon with micro carbon fibres) as a base material, but has the option to incorporate Kevlar, Fibreglass or Carbon Fibre into the part, for enhanced functionalities. Carbon Fibre is the key to very high strength prints, whereas Kevlar is ideal in impact or abrasion resistance applications.

Fine detail printing

For those working with small components and casings with fine details, the Formlabs Form 2 3D printer will be on display. Using SLA technology, with a variety of engineering materials including High Temperature (up to 289°C) and Flexible resins, it generates an excellent surface finish and accuracy.

Free consultations

The CREAT3D team are available to provide clarity on the selection of products offering different tools to suit different applications, and invite visitors to bring examples of parts they may wish to 3D print to discuss the feasibility of incorporating desktop 3D printing into your business.
