The Markforged FX10 is the first industrial metal and composite printer - the product of years of engineering innovation and technological advancement.
The most versatile tool for your factory floor, the FX10 is a fifth generation system built on the success of previous Markforged X7 and Metal X machines to reliably deliver strong, accurate tools and fixtures.
FX10 features a modular print system that enables users to swap between metal and composite print engines quickly and efficiently.
All FX10s have composite capability, with metal capability as a purchasable add-on with the FX10 Metal Kit.
With a large capacity build size of 375mm x 300mm x 300mm, the FX10 is capable of printing large high performance parts, complete assemblies, large tooling, prototypes and production parts, quickly. Printhead-mounted optical sensors can verify the dimensional accuracy of parts and assess device health and performance. FX10 features automatic calibration and material changeover, yielding a simple, low-touch user experience that mitigates the need for dedicated operators.
Features of the FX10:
- Option to print in composite materials only, or composite and metal materials (FX10 Metal Kit required)
- The heated build chamber (capable of reaching 60℃) enables high-speed printing of composites using Turbo Mode (twice as fast as X7)
- Large build volume of 375mm x 300mm x 300mm
- Print in Onyx with continuous reinforced Carbon Fibre for high quality parts with fine surface finish
- Print in Stainless Steel 17-4PH or 316L (coming 2025) with the FX10 Metal Kit for metal components
- Vacuum-sealed print bed with reusable print sheets
- 4 bay material drawer contains built-in, individually sealed storage bays for up to four spools
- Precision-designed motion system positions the printhead with pinpoint accuracy while moving at speed
Markforged FX10 materials are traceable and come with a Certificate of Conformance (CoC) and a Certificate of Analysis (CoA).
The FX10 connects via Ethernet and comes with advanced print software Eiger included (operates on Google Chrome), as part of the Basic Digital Forge subscription. Essential, Advanced and On-Prem subscription tiers are available - choose the plan that is right for your business and teams.
