Formlabs Tough 2000 resin is a reformulation of the Tough (TOTL05) material. With ABS like properties, Tough 2000 is designed for rugged prototyping, offering more advanced mechanical properties and a new dark grey look. It is the strongest and stiffest material in the Formlabs range of functional Tough and Durable resins.
Tough 2000 Resin is ideal for:
- Strong and stiff prototypes
- Parts & connectors requiring minimal deflection
- Simulating the strength and stiffness of ABS
Tough 2000 Resin is for prototyping stiff parts that should not bend easily, such as housings and enclosures, mechanical connectors, and prototypes undergoing wear and tear.
Supports print resolutions: 100 and 50 microns. Requires UV post-cure.
Compatible with Formlabs Form 2, Form 3 / 3B, Form 3+ / 3B+ and Form 3L / 3BL printers.
When using with the Form 2, use with Form 2 Resin Tank LT. When using with the Form 3, use with Form 3 V2 resin tank.
Tough 2000 is dark grey in colour. Each resin cartridge contains 1 litre.
