Formlabs Elastic 50A Resin v2 is for use with Formlabs 3D printers.
Elastic 50A Resin v2 is a soft, translucent elastomer with a 50A Shore durometer that is ideal for prototyping parts normally produced with softer rubbers and silicones. Parts printed in Elastic 50A Resin v2 will bend, stretch, compress, and hold up to repeated cycles without tearing, and spring back quickly to their original shape.
For a stiffer flexible material, we recommend Flexible 80A. For a more silicone-like material, we recommend Silicone 40A resin.

Supports print resolutions: 100 microns. Requires UV post-cure.
Notes for post processing:
- Wash Elastic 50A Resin v2 for 10 minutes on the build platform. Remove parts from the build platform, then wash for 10 more minutes using fresh solvent. Avoid washing Elastic 50A Resin v2 for longer than 20 minutes, as this may degrade parts.
- Use the recommended post-curing time for Elastic 50A Resin v2. Fully submerge the dry parts in water in a glass beaker placed inside Form Cure.
In comparison to Elastic 50A v1 resin, v2 resin has reduced tear strength and has smaller tip supports, making support material easier to tear away. Elastic 50A v2 Resin has to be cured in a water filled glass beaker.
Each resin cartridge contains 1 litre.
